Frequently asked questions
- Do I need any special hardware?
- No. TruckInMotion runs in any modern mobile browser on iOS or Android, and on desktop for office staff. Your existing phones are the only hardware required.
- Does the driver app work without a signal?
- Status updates and submissions are queued locally and synchronized automatically when the device reconnects. Full offline trip capture is on our short-term roadmap.
- Can I import existing customers, materials, or locations?
- Manual entry takes only a few seconds per record today. CSV import for customers, materials, locations, and trucks is on our short-term roadmap.
- Who owns my data and what happens if I leave?
- Your data belongs to your organization. Trips, invoices, and reference data can be exported to CSV at any time, and invoices can be exported as PDF.
